Roller Time Skating Academy's main goal is to create a fun, safe, and positive learning environment where children ages 3 all the way to adults can learn how to roller skate or just improve their skills under the guidance of one of our certified instructors. Our Classes Range from Beginners to advance levels. We also offer birthday parties, camps, groups and private lessons.

Participants learn basic skating techniques such as how to stop, get up if they fall and how skate forward and backward. They learn more advanced skills, such as shooting the duck and how to jump, as they progress. Skates are provided.

Skaters will learn to do a spiral, shoot the duck backward, complete multiple jumps using only one foot to land, execute different spins, and learn several footwork combination moves. 

Advance

Learning to skate is not just a way to have fun, but it can also:

Advanced and more dedicated skaters will learn more complicated moves and will have the opportunity to compete in local competitions. 


As these skaters improve and advance through the many skating levels, the possibility of competing at a regional and/or national level may exist.

  1. Skate for yourself, have fun, and set goals for improvement 
  2. Practice hard because knowing that you did your best is the most rewarding victory. 
  3. Show respect to coaches and other skaters 
  4. Treat all skaters as you would like to be treated 
  5. Older skaters must set a good example for younger, less experienced skaters, as they will always look up to you. 
  6. Remember always to have fun, build skills and have a positive attitude.
